Manic Mami

My mom's back! After being depressed for 7 months straight, she's up and at 'em. It seems like my caregiving days will be over for the most part. I had to cook, clean, do laundry, throw out the garbage, bring the garbage bins back in, check the mail, etc. and now I can rest easy. Now my mom wants to clean, cook and go out, which is a plus for me so I don't have to stay in and watch her. We can go out together and make new memories.

It's the first day of Summer, and her elevated mood could not have come at a better time. I want to go to the beach and do grocery shopping at the new supermarket they just built. Maybe we can even eat at a restaurant or catch a movie at the theater. It's looking good. I'm grateful my prayers have been answered. When you're down to nothing, God is up to something. Thank you, God!
