Mommy Dearest

When Mommy Dearest leaves this planet and goes to heaven, she told me that she doesn't want to see me alone. She said all that I will have is my sister. I told her that my best friend is her and that being around the enemy is not where I will be happy.

I will be ready and willing to move to San Diego, California with the money I have saved. Being around the beach and at peace is ten times better than being surrounded by someone whose loyalty lies with people who have hurt me.

I do not feel loved or care for from my family here in New York. I feel more love from my family in Puerto Rico, but Lord knows I would not want to stay on that island. I would be stuck and feel controlled.

My mom continued to say, "No, the saddest thing for a mother is to leave her daughter single." I told her, "My main priority is you. I am not looking for a man." I said, "Once you leave, I will find a good man and maybe have kids."
